I am currently keeping in mind that maintaining the structure of a subject will reap huge benefits in getting the look of it. The subject in question are usually drawings of people, or figures. I start with something as simple as a line (for the torso) and, later, make use of simple shapes. I have noticed that when I keep this in mind, the figures I draw are in equal proportion. Before doing this, the figures looked like a mess. A little inaccurate. But now I am getting the hang of this, thanks to this observation. I will continue to draw more to get it engraved in my skull.
